| Breeding policy for Mt Carmel: Our breedings will be to enhance our current lines and to keep one or two puppy (s) as our pick of the litter. Since most litters are of 6 to 8 puppies there will be a need to place the remaining puppies in good homes which includes a spay and neuter contract. Mt Carmel is not breeding to supply a pet market, so we don't plan breedings around the demands of a pet market. We will try to provided as much notification as possible of a breeding. Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) Stud service to approved bitches only - (Health certifications - OFA - Contact us for more information.) Bitches out of Mt Carmel will be bred no more than two times and only between the ages of 2 & 6 years and will also have OFA certifications. |
