longer life. Only after all relevant
health screenings have been passed.
We screen parents for Heart disease, Eyes disorders. We screen for Elbow and Hip Dysplasia, to included screening for Luxating Patella. We also screen for genetic disorders (DM) Degenerative Myopathy and Startle Disorder. Puppies do not leave for new homes before 10 weeks in age and will be Liver Shunt tested between 9 - 10 weeks old.
We don't only require healthy parents. We pair our potential parents with the
goal to improve or maintain attributes. Not just health as temperament and structure. are equally important.
So there is a lot that happens before puppies are even a twinkle in mom's eyes.
When there are plans for a litter we will also keep one or two puppies. We want our keepers to have the best opportunity at a healthy long life.
Before you fill out our form. Here is the minimum requirements that you will need to be considered. We are looking for loving homes that have securely fenced in yards. Puppy must have a safe, soft cozy place to sleep in your home. There must be appropriate time dedicated to raising the puppy. Long hours in a crate while at work will not be acceptable. .
